2 Mile Lodge - Kenmare

I stayed at the Lodge for 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed my time. The host, Patricia, provided really good hospitality, going out of her way to ensure my comfort, including offering to drive me into Kenmare for the evening. The breakfast selection was excellent, with options like omelettes and pancakes.

Finding the Lodge at night can be tricky without good signage.

I would stay here again for a trip. Thanks a lot guys for an extra special stay of my monthlong holiday. Everyone is excellent and accommodating and host too. It offers magnificent and perfect location really close to the surrounding garden, shops and restaurants and fun and a beautiful waterfall. Also, it's 3 km from kennemare.

The breakfast was fantastic with a generous spread, there were pancakes, fruit and bacon.

The television reception left much to be desired, with limited English language channels available that seemed more suited for Arabic viewers. While the bathroom was generous in size, it could benefit from better space utilization for toiletries and more towel hangers for convenience.

Well, it was a LOVELY stay of our monthlong holiday. Our breakfasts were delicious and absolutely fantastic with delicious pancakes. The setting of hotel was beautiful and amazing, in the sunny conservatory.

Exceptionally clean and homely hotel with delightful view to the surrounding garden. Large and airy room with large bathroom and hypo-allergenic pillows. Excellent spot next to wonderful hikes and a beautiful waterfall as well as national park. Also, to Kenmare center. A very special way to end my trip.

The breakfast was ample and delicious, exceeding our expectations with its generous portions and quality.

Finding the lodge after dark can be tricky due to the lack of a lit sign at the entrance, which may require GPS assistance.

Patricia is such a gem, super helpful and full of local tips. Breakfast was great with loads of options. While the place is a bit tricky to find at night, the fine views and cozy atmosphere made it all worthwhile!

The lodge is definitely not as great as people are saying. Poor tv reception, and no English channels to enjoy. I can't believe there wasn't even a complimentary treat in the room. It was an underwhelming experience that i almost gave a good review, but just couldn't manage to do it!

The warm hospitality from patricia, and the breakfast was good with so many tasty options. It exceeded my expectations for a relaxing holiday.

It was just a proper fit for a couple of nights in Kenmare with really good value. The breakfast cooked to order was a great way to start the day. Make sure to have GPS if arriving after dark, it's a bit tricky to find.

We had a wonderful stay, enjoying the comfortable rooms and an excellent breakfast, while being just a quick jaunt from attractions like Holy Cross Church and the Beara Way Walk that make for great strolling opportunities.

It was just a well-suited match for a flying visit in Kenmare with value for price. The room was clean, spacious, warm, and comfortable. Make sure to ask for a breakfast option that suits your taste.
